The flower of the Acahual (Tithonia tubiformis) is one of my favourites, starts flowering in august an ends in October.
Nikon D2X, 1/320s, Sigma 105mm, f10.

You did a very nice job of laying out this picture Caronte. Beautiful colors and I like the beetles in the far corner.

Something about the color in this I particularly like, maybe the yellow, but I cannot put my finger on it for sure. Interesting bit of photography here.
