I'm Lucky to work across the street from a florist, so I can get free samples to practice on. I am certainly not an expert but I do like to photo just about anything that will not bite or growl at me. Hope you folks enjoy.

"Across the street from a florist", eh? Well, I guess life can't be fair. And on the bright side, I have wasp nests in my garden shed.
These are interesting shots, Bill. Kind of a "soft" appearance, compared to the slice study in your earlier post. Is that a difference in the subject, the lighting, the optics, the post-processing, or am I seeing what's not there?

Rik, I think the main reason this set was soft is shooting on my desk under a direct air vent. Not ideal . My 105 is super sharp so it was not eguipment. Thanks for your responce and any advice is always welcome.
