Ladybug larva

Post by Charles Krebs »

Walked by some thistle that was loaded with aphids... and because of that had an ample number of ladybug larvae present as well.

All shots Canon 5D and Canon 65mm MP-E. All three are used multiple images (6, 3, and 11 respectively) to get greater DOF using Helicon Focus

Very nice, Charlie -- you're really getting into this trick of stacking live specimens in the field!

Excellent photos Charles...he looks very well fed (which is good in the case of aphids).
