It looks like a nymph of Tettigonia viridissima, but who can tell for sure? 8)

Lovely composition in image #1. Don't know why, but I'm often taken by these "edge of the world" shots. The colored background is a really nice touch in this one. :D

Rik, the colored background is actually a piece of broken pantile. 8)
I also like those holes in the leaf which brings dimension (spatiality?) to the composition.
