That's the way it is with me and bald eagles. I've had three excellent chances to get a shot of a bald eagle at close range. Best one I actually had the eagle in the viewfinder and was starting to press the shutter button when he took off. :(

Rik, that is a butterfly. Not sure as to what kind since I have not a good photographic memory or otherwise it seems, for looking it up. :lol:
