Red headed Lichen

I believe (I am not sure) these are Cladonia cristatella...British Soldiers. These are nice and fresh and moist and colorful. They were found mixed in with the pink earth lichens I posted pictures of here..on soil..... http://www.photomacrography.net/forum/v ... php?t=2725

What I really like about my camera is the fact that the LCD screen folds out, swivels up & down and you can actually turn it totally around to face the front of the camera. It comes in handy when you hold the camera over your head or I can actually place it on the ground and swivel the LCD up so I can see it for crazy angle shots. Thanks friends.

I also liked the swivelable LCD back when I shot my "old" Pro90IS. Losing that is one thing that's unfortunate about SLRs for sure.

These things look like a mad scientist's crossbreed of tomatoes and Brussels sprouts!

You know they make a LCD screen for SLR's but the attach directly to your viewfinder. So manual focusing is really out of the question with these and auto focus is really "in." However, they are rather expensive for what they are I think.
