I like that background and I like the 1st image better than the cropped versions :lol:

The background and the backlighting highlight the markings on the butterfly very nicely. I like the third picture...the open wings make the BF appear larger and more 3D IMO.

Interestingly, I found it on white thistle alike flower although more than 95 percent around were purple.
