The other little hopper

Post by salden »

Here he is again. This one and the one I posted earlier seem to be hanging out together.

Wow you did well to spot this little guy (or gall?) Sue. :D

DOF look to be quite shallow however focus being a little forward has picked up the front legs, head and eye very nicely.

It`s amazing how one will be green and another one will be gray and they are the same species..they even have the same black dot on the thorax. love those molted eyes.

This one looks a lot more mature. :D Wonder how it can see through those speckled eyes? :-k

Cool, Sue. I especially like grasshopper eyes. If you ha gotten a tad more parallel to the little hopper you might have gotten the "knees" sharp, too. Cute face on this guy :!: :D

Where this plant is located there is a very sharp (big) rock right in front of it (garden stuff..lol) and unless I remember to bring my knee pads, getting even with the subject will not happen. I made that mistake the other day and boy did it hurt my knees.

This is one heck of a well defined macro image hehe! Love how he (?) blends into his surroundings ...
