3 recent bug shots

Post by karl-m »

Took these over the weekend, all hand held. Pop-up flash with lowerd out put and a home made diffuser that fits over the flash. ISO 200, shutter speed 200, F-16, flash set to -1.3 and manual focus.....

"Great balls of spiders"You get such vivid colors in your photos karl. The grass stalk is so green and the spiders are international safety Yellow  . I had the same ones on my BBQ last summer.

Three attention grabbing images Karl! They are just so beautifully crisp and clean and as Doug noted, the colours are so pure and intense (in a very desirable way :D ) - truly excellent.

Aside from their technical merit, all three pictures have interesting detail that demands you have a really close look. Artistically, the silk strands supporting the spiderling mass in pic2 really makes the image something special too.

Well done!

Great sharp details and the lighting is good Karl. Nice colours and good use of selective focus. Nicely worked :D

Danny.
Worry about the image that comes out of the box, rather than the box itself.
