Pretty sharp photographs there Karl, especially that first one. Wonder what that Sheild Bug is doing to that Aphid. They don't eat aphids do they? :D

Thnx Ken.....no they don't, i placed the bug on the plant to make it easier to take shots....

I don't know about that, but some of them will definitely go after bigger prey, like caterpillars!
