Here are a few floral shots....these are all stacked but only using 2 images for each flower, i though that was enough to show detail front to back......F16 ISO, 100, Natural light on the right and bounced light on the left,(of course)....

I do have some bug shots and will upload some shortly, nothing like what you lot capture, i'm still learning...

Roses seem to photograph so beautifully and you have captured the textures of the petals so well and in the second image too I think. A very nice series of floral images Karl. :D

"Clean and elegant" is what comes to mind. Very nice. :D

There's a bit of fuzz on the stem of #2 that's troubling me. I can't tell what it is, but I can't miss seeing it either. Might be a candidate for your favorite retouching tool.
