this shot was taken hand held with the SP90... kenko extension tubes...and it was windy LOL

Wind is surely one big macro-enemy, but you seem to have captured the fly at the right moment.
Good combination of colours.

thank you Erland...It was a tricky shot to get I had to hold the stem of the flower in my left hand to stop it moving in the wind while moving my camera too a from the subject to get the right DOF.....LOL everyone passing me must have thought I was strange...but i had great fun doing it :D

Must say, I don't think you could have gotten it any bigger Dave. :lol: Yes, I too have had to reach out and hold the stem, branch or whatever to steady a subject in the wind. It can be tricky at times but it works. Great image Dave. :D
