You know it is a funny thing Sue. That little bee was the most cooperative honeybee I have ever come across. I shot it from different angles and it did not even attempt to fly away, though it would crawl around a bit on the dasiy. I am glad that they are still around, since so many of them are disappearing. This little guys hive was only several yards away from where I took this image. :D

Thanks Sue :D

I agree with Sue on the second picture. The background is very clean. Yep, sometimes you get lucky with insects that cooperate

Thanks Doug. :D Many of the honeybees are disappearing and no one knows why. :( I am glad these are still around. My neighbor, landlords brother, has several beehives not far from where I took this. The bees have not been a bother, other than leaving strings of "bee poop pollen" across the hood and cab of my truck after having washed it.

Yeah the Japanese beetle is a bit dark and obscure. I will blame it on getting used to the new lens for now. After that, I guess I will have to own up to my mistakes. Thanks Mike :D

Very nice Ken! :D
Seems it is a good piece of glass. What is your experience with IS? Does it really helps, paticulary while shooting close objects?

Noticing of my "a" and "the" and other grammar
