So if our friends from the UK, NZ, Oz, etc. photograph one of these, does it become a 2.54 centimeter worm? :twisted:

More likely to be a 2.54 centimetre worm ... unless it's a millipede with the gear up - I'll let you guess that one :)

Well, it is a nice worm regardless of the name :lol: . Nice, sharp details Ken. I attempted to photograph one of these, but he was on the move and I could not get a nice sharp image like you have here.

Amazing how such a little thing can stir up so much. :lol: They can be a pain to photogrpah when on the move Sue. If it is on a twig or leaf, something you can jar just the least bit, they will stop and stand still like this. Hoping they look like a stick to a would be predator.

Excellent composition also Ken. I like the way he "inches" his way into the center of the picture. :wink:

Hehehe, i'm afraid it will always be an inch worm for me. I don't think I ever will get my head round the metric system :?
