At least that is what it looks like to me. I would not have notice this little guy if it was not for him jumping past my head prior to landing.

Cool -- I love those eyes! :D

It's not a baby katydid, though. With those membranous wings, extended pronotum, and no antennae to speak of, I think you have an adult treehopper.

Yeah it looks like a tree hopper to me too. Great shot of the little thing though. Those eyes are wild. :D

Thanks Ken. It is cute no matter what it is, but I was surprised it stayed so long in one spot. It must have landed on food. :lol:
