Fern leaf Study..Color & B&W

Fern fonds are always lacy & beautiful. I have some small ones growing in my orchid terrarium, so I thought I would give them a shot. A little USM applied and some contrast added to the B&W photo. I also cut the tip off of the large fern, rotated it and made it come out of the lower right corner in post processing, so I did manipulate the picture :wink:

Field of view in first picture is 1.250" (26mm)

Something like this looks much better in black and white I think, instead of black and green. I also can see geese, witches, and even a cross cut saw if I let may imagination go with it. But really though, b & w looks much better than green and black in this. :D
