Wim was commenting on his backgrounds and how they can sometimes be distracting. While out shooting around the back of the house, I came across this Harvestman resting on a weed. It did not dawn on me at first but I realized that I had two choices of backgrounds. One with the usual leafy green foliage to try and be softly diffused in the background or a more even and brightly lit background that was the limestone gravel on the road beside my house. I chose the limestone gravel road. Now this background may not be of taste to some but I rather liked it. So, by just slightly changing the angle of the camera on the subject, it produced the desired background.
