Many lizards, especially those from dry areas, excrete salt from a gland in their nostrils, as this crevice spiny lizard is doing.

Really like the sharpness of this photograph, though the background could...well be more complimentary but what can you say. :-k The lizard is what really captures your attention anyway. :D
