Post by karl-m »

Just a few recent close up's of some floral species......taken with a simple set up of using a Canon 55-200 USM zoom lens with a +1 close up filter attached.

Welcome! Very, very nice Karl! :D :smt023
But we have limits here. Three photos per day up to 800×800 pixel and 200 kB each. Spare some photographs for tomorrow.
See rules please.
Again, excellent photographs!

Love the second photo.
When I see that flower on some trees at my local "macro-spot", I know it's spring, and I return home a bit happier :D

Very nice shots and a good series. Nice work Karl.

Hey, no one has made more mistakes when posting than I have. So don't sweat it. I love essay type shots and enjoy a series as well. Having said that though, if we change it for one, we have to change it for all. Dial ups have problems with large posts and yep, we do have folks on dial up.

Anyway, wonderful sharp shots and obviously a darn good eye

Danny.

Some great shots here Karl. :D Color saturation looks good, composition and subject to background ratio, as I call it, it could be called something else I don't know  look good in all three. The background in the second looks a bit busy though but it's that same tired old line when you shoot out of doors, "you gotta take what you can get" but its not all that bad though Karl. The background is nice and quite fitting I suppose if one thinks about it and the circumstance under which the photograph was taken. Good work here Karl. We look forward to more. :D

Good shots Kar. Many of us have screwed up our post far worse. For example, after my last posting, I had to split my series into two posts.

Its's good to have you on board.
