but it is great that I have some (other than the grocery store variety). My gardens are coming into bloom and it is great.

WOW Sue...I love it. I like the way you composed the shot..half a flower, somewhat below eye level and the lighting is just perfect, nothing to dark or over blown. The pastal colors work well with the bottom green. A+

This is lovely!

The edges of the petals have a unique look, not sure if you intended that way, or maybe they are a bit oversharpened.

I like the way it flows into the frame and renders to itself dominance. :smt079 The highlights nicely accentuate the petals and the background is very complemetary. Also the softness of the petals beneath, helps to lead ones eyes away from the image and relaxes the composition overall. Nicely done Sue. :D

Some images can be inspiring, Tom :-k and lead one to say a bit more than just "nice shot" or getting really technical with the biological or physiological aspects of the subject, which I oftentimes do. This is art, this is photography.

Geez Ken, thanks. What a nice thing to say. I had to read that first post twice - I knew you had it in you :D

This is one that will be in my mid=point review, if it prints out like I want it to.
