Ok, Ok... I'm late... Happy Easter... but ... as we say in Italy there is another Crown of Thorns, for Holy Friday, related to mammillaria.
Just take a look on my balcony:

Not just related to Mammillaria, it is a Mammillaria! Looks like Mammillaria spinossima or something closely related to it?

Nice picture.

The smaller the flowers tend to be on Mammillaria the more you usually get Doug!

It certainly is a beautiful plant Marco. I never have considered cacti to be such beautiful and flowering plants until here of late, probably due to the fact that I have never really noticed the flowering of them until now. Beautiful shots Marco. :D

Thank you Ken, I'm happy :D to show you the beauty of Cactii, my favourite plants, with succulents obviously.
My balcony is becoming a botanical garden but as we say in Italy "Il gioco vale la candela" (the game is worth the candle) \:D/ .
Bye!
Marco.
