Very nice photo and beautiful flowers on that little cacti, Dave! :D
What is the size of the pot?
I'm curious what kind of the cacti usually got first into bloom?
The meaning of beauty is in sharing with others.

Noticing of my "a" and "the" and other grammar

Pot size 2.5" (6.5cm) which means it is about 4X life size on my 24" monitor!. A bit of a mixture of genera are first to flower with me, the Turbinocarpus and some Mammillaria's although other genera are showing buds. It can vary year to year which of the early flowerers manages to be first.

My plants have only had one watering a week or so ago after their winter rest. They will probably get their second tomorrow. I usually wait until I see signs of new spine growth before first watering and they seem to be late starting this year.

Of course I run an unheated greenhouse, so I am behind with my first flowering to those who heat through the winter, though mine catch up later with the later flowering plants.
