Well I don't recognise the species but do I like what I see. Interesting detail too. Although clearly a totally unrelated species, the surface hairs and texture strike me as somewhat reminiscent of Doug's recent Sundew posting.

Wonderful image, Bill. :D The texture is so crisp and tactile that I can feel it. Which luminar did you use and how big was the subject?

Irwin, I usually use the 2.5-5 Zeiss Luminar zoom as my lowest power objective. The subject was about 1- 1 1/2 in I think,Bill
