Cactus flower and two more Lithops

The cactus is Echinocereus Viridiflorus (flower is about 1.25" in dia.) and two more Lithops (about .75" dia. for both of them)

Now that IS green!

A gorgeous flower and very different too. I love the startlingly white, spiny calyx on the developing buds and still visible beneath the open flower - beautiful!

That first Lithop pic reminds me of something ...I can't quite put my finger on it.... :lol:

Well Bruce, I really don`t think you want too go there :shock: . This cactus is supposed to be very winter hardy. I am thinking of doing a little cold hardy cactus garden this year (thinking 3x3 feet maybe). I have found out that there are a few experimental cactus gardens in new England and with global warming changing everything...... :wink:
