Well, Ken isn't the only one groveling on the ground to take photos. This is a low lying plant known locally as Purple Mat. They are popping up here in great numbers now that spring is approaching. The flowers are about 1/4" in diameter.

Spring has sprung everywhere except here in NH. Do you think I will get any flower photos under maybe a foot of snow this weekend I will just have to enjoy your beautiful pictures
