A couple more butterflies:

The wasp is on a dead woodfish. This was a toothed fish that had very sharp teeth.

Obviously interesting feeding place for insects. :D
I knew wasps kill spiders, but piranhas?

Yes, Nikola, Ken and I were shocked about this kill also. Despite knowing that many insects can lift 50x their own weight it was still shocking to see this wasp swoop down and grab this woodfish out of the water. :D

Good eye, Doug, I didn't notice that. I'm not sure if it is a moth or butterfly. BTW, this is Craig :) , the other Amazonian guy. Mistaking them for Ken's pics is a compliment I really appreciate, though, as his ARE really beautiful. :D

I do believe it is indeed a corpse. Super shots though, the wasp is a Polybia species I think.

Thanks a lot, guys, and no prob, Doug, it was an easy mistake to make. :) Gordon, you sure are amazing when it comes to narrowing down the species.
