Spring is in the air

Fresh photographs of the fresh flowers from my today walking.

First one is out of focus macro.

Ken, this IS a close-up but out of focus.

I spite of that I like it. That happen sometimes if I do not look at LCD or through the viewfinder.

All full framed, not even single pixel crop.

I like your pictures. The second one is nearly perfect and the first one is so different that I like that too.
There are no flowering trees here yet, so I watch yours...

By the way, this is deep in the continental part of the country. Island would wait a few months till vacation.

On the coastal and islands regions blooming happened even earlier.

Well Nikola, I have to say I am envious of your arrival of Spring. We still have nothing, but snow & ice here in Nebraska. I really like the colors & depth displayed in picture #2.

Hey folks! Did you notice that parts of the front out of focus flowers on #1 actually appears as see-through. Especially green, orange and some white portions too.

Also, photographs with many branches could be tricky in sense of purple fringing but here appears very nice and sharp.

number 2 , i like the nice warm lighting the shadows arnt to harsh eather which is good and are very pleasant, afternoon?

Beautiful pics Nikola. I like the way the shadows of the stamens play across the petals in pic2. I'm gonna have to try and achieve a similar effect in some of my own blossom pics in a few weeks time. Well they say that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".
