WOW...that place looks like butterfly heaven and macro heaven also. Beautiful looking photos Ken. Did you get down and dirty on the ground to get these shots.

Doug,

Definitely hands and knees crawling around, while trying to keep the camera out of the sand. To make it even tougher, there were swarms of bees buzzing and walking around the sand (will see some later). Was very suprised I didn't make one angry by accidentally smashing it. I guess if I did I could always jump in the piranha infested river to safeguard myself.
