Getting nervous waiting my macro lens. 8)
Oh I didn't mention it yet? I bought Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi). :D But I must wait for Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens. :?
I know, I know you critical guys you could find a better but I think this is enough for SLR beginner and nicer fits my budget.

You made a fine choice Nikola, I am sure you will do wonders with the new camera and besides as it has been said before here on these forums, "its the photographer behind the camera that really makes the image."

Doug, I just wasn't so strong character to resist. :?
Because I must wait for Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens I bought kit version to have play with something meanwhile. A little difference in price between kit and body only. Canon EF 100mm Macro can focus to infinity so I can use it for other purposes also (Albeit 100mm is a bit long for prime or all purpose lens).
That kit lens EF-S 18-55mm behave properly. You can even get pretty close, up to 28 cm with magnification 0.10 (Wide); 0.28 (Tele) or 0.81 - 0.23 with 12 mm macro ring and 0.92 - 0.51 with 25 mm (Extension Tube EF25). 8)
Heck, I would like to know how they calculate this!

See Grape hyacinth captured with Canon EOS 400D and EF-S 18-55mm.
No crop.
