One of my Mini Orchids

Post by beetleman »

This one is Dendrobium Limpidum. Not much info on the web...comes from New Guinea. The place where I bought it is no longer listing them so it might be rare. The new growth has the alternating leaves and the old growth looses the leaves and then the flowers come out of the ends of the old growth. The second photo is a stack of ten shots for some extended DOF. The flowers are about 2cm long. Field of view in the first picture is 9-10cm and a little less than 3cm in the second. This plant loves a lot of water

Well this is a pretty little thing and finally something that does not have spines all over it.

Very nice little orchid with plenty of babies growing from the main branches. :D

wonderful dendrobium, it is amzing how varied the various dendrobiums are.. Good shot, Doug, Although for Ken's sake, i had hoped there would be spines.
