This moth is called a Urania moth.

Can't say that the ground with a discarded dish scrubby is the ideal background, but hey, take what you can get, right?

What is that green thing that took butterfly's attention? A kind of artificial material? Nice tailed butterfly, I bet he was fooled thinking that's another butterfly for mate. :lol: Nice miniature hooper and unusual moth, also. Very nicely captured.

As I mentioned in the post, this is a discarded dish scrubby; used by the lodge to wash dishes I assume. Must be some minerals or other materials that it obtained from this.

Beautiful, beautiful creatures Ken. I can here the little hopper in #2 going " ouch ooch, ouch, ouch" :lol: Both moths are unreal looking
