Dragonfly, over the top

Post by Gordon C. Snelling »

One of my few and favorite dragonfly images. This fella was very cooperative, and just hung out while I took it's picture.

I Like when the Dragonflies are very cooperative. The Dragonfly pictures I posted today were the same way...they would fly and then land on the same leaf right in front of me. Nice photo Gordon.

If only we could get more cooperative dragonflies. I've seen a few dragonflies that held their wings like this, but it always makes me do a double-take, 'cause it is not the norm from what I see.

I have gotten one or two shots of a dragonfly but that is about it. :( Nice shot here Gordon, those wings are in a position you don't see quite often. :D
