I can't help it, have to post a couple more photos of these wonderfull damselflies:

Thank you all for comments. They sat at end of sticks at the edge of the small stream, producing nice background. Of course it helps too, that I'm really close to them,
Notice how I captured the male just giving his wings a single beat, just after he has landed. He would land just spot on in focus several times at the stick, so I did not have to remove my eye from the viewfinder.
Interesting is it that the wings of the females protrudes well beyond the end of the abdomen, whereas the wings of the male, end at the end of the abdomen.
Btw, the female was not photographed at "some" location, but at the same location as the male.
Further towards equator in Africa, you will find many more similar species from the family the species belong to, but in South Africa, only one species is common.
