These are the two stacks I took this week and compiled today. The Aloinopsis is another mesemb native to the Cape provinces of South Africa. They remind me of tiny feet.
The echinocereus spines were take at a magnification of 5x. At this magnification, they seem abstract and almost graceful. Hope you enjoy.

With lithops there is a dormant season after floweringin which water must be withheld. The Adult leasves will begin to shivel. Inside, the new set of leave is canabalizing the old set. Do not water until the old leaves are fully dessicated. The new leaves will have emerged.
