Several Agaves

Post by cactuspic »

Since agaves are too mean for even a recovering trial attorney. the agaves in this post belong to some of my buddies. The blue Agave havardiana was growing in the yard of Dr. Larry Fagarison of Kerville, Texas. The twisty Agave leopoldi was grown by Bob Barth of Ausin. Hope you enjoy.

I've seen these before but never knew what they were. The coloration of the thorns and the thorn markings in the first, really define the image there Irwin. Nice shots! :D

The first picture sure is advertizing the fact that your blood could be on my spines if you touch me. I think I have seen some big ones of picture #2 down in Florida. Beautiful textures on these plants Irwin and you did a nice job of capturing them
