Some more great photos Ken. The background to pic2 shows the result of some interesting (although some might say boring) activity.

Bet Steve Valley pricks up his ears at this one :D

Bruce,

This was one of two downed logs that I got quite a few pics off of. Starting tomorrow I will be showing a fascinating behavioral series of orgiastic aggression between some flies of some sort taken on this same log that is one of my favorites .

I cannot get over how beautiful the Leaf & Treehoppers are in your photos Ken....simply amazing  Here again I would say you have a leafhopper in #1 and a treehopper in #3 and #2, I will say is some sort of Snout Beetle (Weevil). It looks like it has hard elytra (hardened forwings) covering its wings like a beetle. Nice little red mite on the Treehopper

Playing with words, Bruce?
Double meaning? :?:  Boring as adjective meaning tiresome and uninteresting or boring as noun meaning the act of drilling?
Nice photos Ken! :smt023

Absolutely Nikola! For a non-native speaker you show a pretty impressive grasp of the English language.

Lijepi pozdravi (hopefully no gender error Nikola? :D )

3 nice shots, Ken! #2 is very interesting....ain't insect evolution grand? I notice lots of little bore holes in the wood, some with little frass plugs, cool.
