My what nice (green) hairy legs you have...

...all the better to hide from you my dear...

I only spotted this spider when it was wrapping up a meal and its underside was showing (much paler than above). Its on a plane tree and is well-camouflaged.

That spider is a little different than we usually see Steve. Very nice picture and a great find on this guy. He blends in very well indeed :shock:

Yes, I bet if he hadn't shown you his tummy, You'd never have seen him. But I guess that's the idea :-)

Thanks Carl & Doug. You are spot on there. I went back the next day and he was on the same leaf but it took me a while to find!
