Bedtime story

Post by nephiliim »

Hey people,

I would like to tell you all a little story, here goes:

There was a fly, and while he was flying around he found some lovely rotting peaches. As he touched down he discovered that he was not alone, there where a lot of other flies around.
Image
Fortunately the flies where al friendly and they all enjoyed a feast meal together.

But then they where startled by a strange low pitch buzzing, not like any fly they had ever heard. They looked up to see who it was but..

SNAP!!

It was allready to late
Image
It was a wasp they had heard, and it had grabbed our litlle fly-friend.
They struggled and fought wildly and all over the place.
The fly gave it's best try, but it did not matter
Image
The wasp was much stronger and had a firm grip on the poor little fly.
He chewed off the fly's little feet one by one and to finish it off it chewed off the fly's head.
Image
After the was was finished with readying his cargo for transport he flew off to his home to feed the fly to the colony's ever-hungry children.

Therefore, the fly did not live happily ever after

Good night, don't let any bugs bite

All the best,

Tom B

P.S. Sorry for the fourth shot and comments and advice allways welcome

Thank you both for the comments. I'm not really satisfied with the second and third shot, but they where moving around very much at those moments.

All the best,

A wonderful series of images to go along with the story TomB. :D The fourth image was, I suppose necessary, to get the story across but we don't advocate them; if at all possible. You know this would make a good "reality" childrens story book! Thanks TomB :D

Well, I love happy endings, but after such a well-told story I won't worry if there isn't one. Did anybody document how you were chasing after these guys? That would be another fascinating story , I guess.

I did not have to chase the around that much Paul.
The struggle practically took place on the tiles in front of me.. the third shot was just a step away and the fourth shot was still in our garden but about 3 or 4 steps more to the back fence of it.

All the best, and thank you all for the comments,
