Here are my pics for "My Best of 2006" I like the way the terracotta in the background matches the grasshopper and it really looks good in a framed 8x10 glossy paper on my wall at home and the Tillandsia flower stack just touches my nerve :wink:

You know a lot of insect pics have an abundance of very sharp detail here and there, Doug but that grasshopper actually looks better the way you have it presented here, lots of details but not overly so, the hopper looks quite natural here I think. As for the last image, that would look good in hallway or maybe even in the den on a large framed print. Very nice images for 2006 Doug, good work :smt023

Just for general information, the grasshopper is on a Sarracenia Flava (a North american pitcher plant, a carnivorous plant) :shock:
