Amazon Pics Part 14

Post by Moebius »

Not too happy with the lighting on this guy, but I had to climb up to even get him at all.

This next guy was infuriating. No matter which way I faced or how I moved, he would always look away from me. I will have more frog and poison dart frog pics later.

A very interesting cat. Is the black tar-like substance real or part of the camoflauge? Don't know. There are many subjects that I wish I would have spent more time on/more quantity & quality of shots, but I was like a kid in a candy store just told to concentrate on a couple candies...hard to do.

Very nice, Ken. :D I can see some water drops. Was it rainy day or high moisture condensate?

We only had one rainy day that I remember. Humidity was certainly high...about 180% I would guess. I can't remember if this was after a rain or not.

I think the frog is darker than the bug IMO. The frog picture is awesome...very beautiful creature. The caterpiller does not look yummy at all. Great shots (all of them)

Seems you captured them all very well IMO, I especially like the frog. Things like that do tend to be a bit camera shy, jumping spiders are like that sometimes. :D
