The nice orange one is a stingless bee genus Trigona. They are capable of honey production although in most cases the amount is so small as to not be economically important.

Wonderful shots Ken. The antennae on the third spiky bug are cool with those flat areas

What a cute little bee! You even captured the ocelli on it little head, wonderful! :o That last one looks like an Assassin. :shock: Great photographs Ken. :D

Thanks for the ID. Do you have an online source for Amazon insects (which I would just love to have), or is this just one you remember?

There must be hundreds of different kinds of insects down there :roll: :wink: and it would be nice to be able to id more.
