Stacked spider

Jumping spider (Marpisa muscosa) - 10 picture are take vith MP-E 65 /2.8 Macro, and stacked with software (Helicon Focus)


Mayby to colorfull and dark - but in a white passepartout, i think it goet pritty well

Excellent shot, I would say you did quite well with this guy, doesn't appear to dark to me, although a bit red overall but great composition and contrasts.

Wonderful shot Ib. Great job on the stack. He does look like "Oscar the grouch spider" or "Cookie monster Spider. Love those eyes

Very nice pic Ib! I was looking at the reflections in the eyes and looks like I can see 3 if not 4 points of light in his eyes resulting from flash. What was your flash setup for this pic?

It´s a experiment and i am not sure where it´s end - as the picture show´s there is one ordinary glow lamp, and the Novoflex Cold Light Source - the glow lamp is wrong, the color-temperature (kelvin) from 2 light Source is not optimum and a bit difficult i think
On the "Novoflex Cold Light" it´s also possible to use a switchable external light source (e.g. TTL electronic flash unit - but havent try this with x5 and stacked foto yet
