Interesting "prey's eye" view Ib. Nice detail and good composition - wish I'd taken it :D

Excellent shot, I would say you did quite well with this guy, doesn't appear to dark to me, although a bit red overall but great composition and contrasts. :D

Wonderful shot Ib. Great job on the stack. He does look like "Oscar the grouch spider" or "Cookie monster Spider. Love those eyes :smt023

Very nice pic Ib! I was looking at the reflections in the eyes and looks like I can see 3 if not 4 points of light in his eyes resulting from flash. What was your flash setup for this pic?

Sorry for the bad foto

It´s a experiment and i am not sure where it´s end - as the picture show´s there is one ordinary glow lamp, and the Novoflex Cold Light Source - the glow lamp is wrong, the color-temperature (kelvin) from 2 light Source is not optimum and a bit difficult i think
On the "Novoflex Cold Light" it´s also possible to use a switchable external light source (e.g. TTL electronic flash unit - but havent try this with x5 and stacked foto yet

I have got the inspiration from a reply by rjlittlefield - and other link to inspiration are welcome
