A bluish fly with a more slender body than the blue bottle flies we have up here.


This guy looks familiar to the ones we have up here.

Some more great photographs there Ken, that last one though, looks as though the insect has a rostrum stuck in the plant leaf, I believe it is, sucking out the juices. :D

Same thing for the second one, and judging from the number of small brown-ringed holes in the leaf, this isn't the first time!

Yep, the bug in the second picture is doing the same thing...sucking juices :shock: Super pictures Ken...I love them :wink:
