Found this critter or what was left of it, hanging from the stem of a small Tulip Poplar growing outback of the house. Things to photograph are scarce this time of year, unless it rains and freezes or it snows perhaps and gives us some of those nice wintery shots. :D

That is a pretty strange looking hopper Ken...ever see a live one? Almost looks like that "Summit Disease". Look at how he is hugging that branch :shock:

You know Summit Disease did cross my mind Doug but there were no fungal hyphae or filaments present. I thought too that it might be some sort of locust that had hatched out but the carapace is not split, so I don't know. :-k Thanks Doug :D
