'nother ant nest...

This one was a about a metre away from the one posted yesterday under the same piece of wood, and the ants are a wee bit larger. Interestingly, as you can see in the second cropped image, one of the ants is winged.

Some good shots here too Steve. I also find interesting, is the fact that the eggs are so much bigger than the ants themselves. The queen must be very large I suppose. :D

As Rik indicated Ken, they are probably pupae not eggs.
