Here is a picture of my grandfathers` watch and black onyx ring. His was the classic story of coming over from Italy in 1917 as a 17yr. old boy to New Yorks` Ellis Island and found work as a mason. One of the buildings he worked on is the Chrysler Building http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Building
The watch is old and the glass is scarred but it still works just like he did up until the day he died.

That is a nice looking watch there Doug, can't tell that there is much wrong as far as the cosmetic appearance of it in the photograph. I once had a pocket watch that I purchased while in Italy, can't recall what happened to it though but as far as I can recall it worked fine.
