Let's see..black butterfly on a black background...what can you do?

These look familiar...yet a little different (3cm)

All sizes are by my faulty memory only and not from any type of calculation or measurement.

Interesting pics Ken and I think the butterfly works surprisingly well on the black background.

It must have been something else to get a chance to go to the amazon and get these pics. Well Done Ken!

Very good pictures Ken. The first one (snout beetle) sorta looks like a macro elephant lying down for a rest

and I agree with Bruce on the butterfly, it still shows up very well. The third one looks like a true bug (Hemiptera), like a skinny looking shield bug. Wonderful job on these Ken (focus & DOF).
