It was really too hot to shoot last week, but I was traveling and hate to miss the opportunity to shoot in strange places, so I went out early in the morning and shot anyway. Friday was my last day, and I had nowhere else to go till I had to be at the airport in mid-afternoon, so I kept shooting pretty late, and it got REALLY hot. I was shooting heavily-flashed macro of insects, which means you can shoot mid-day when the light's too bad for anything else. As it got hotter, I unceremoniously dropped my photo vest on the ground. Later I noticed this dragonfly really liked my vest. I can see the endorsement deal now:
"EVEN DRAGONFLIES CAN RECOGNIZE THE SUPERIOR QUALITY OF THE CAMPCO SAFARI VEST!"
Campco, I'm waiting for you to call!
