Mahonia Japonica in FLower

Post by georgedingwall »

Hi all,

It's been such a mild winter so far where I live, that my Mahonia Japonica is coming into flower several weeks ahead of when it normally does. This is the same shrub as I used in the Christmas Baubles image I posted recently. The flower is about half an inch across. Looks a lot like a miniature Daffodil.

Bye for now.

You know it does look like a daffodil, I would probably have never noticed had you not pointed it out. Very nice. :D

Beautiful Picture George. very tricky color to capture well and you did a fine job  ( my yellows always seem to come out too hot)
