No danger for mantis. Spider ran away trambling of fear.

Really nice shots, especially the underside of the insect in the first one. We don't see to many bottoms on here!

The second is quite nice to, although just a tad bit hot I think.

I don`t think the spider should have ran away. He could have had a nice meal here with this mantis

Maybe, but he didn't know it. He stayed far away and returned back after mantis relesed herself. Spider showed great respect for mantis.
